Nitka Technologies develops software for customers in the US and Europe and brings together about 300 professionals from Eastern Europe, North and South America, Armenia, Georgia and Kazakhstan.

We are looking for an experienced Backend (Java) Developer for a potential position for а fintech long-term project.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience of building distributed systems;
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, REST APIs, gRPC;
• Hands-on knowledge of Microservices architecture, high velocity high volume event streaming and data pipelines;
• Expertise in resilient service design with circuit breakers, retries, and failover;
• Will be beneficial: familiarity with OAuth2/OpenID Connect /SAML; FIDO2/WebAuthn/Passkeys; W3C Verifiable Credentials (VC 2.0) & Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) protocols;
• Nice to have knowledge of DIDComm/VC interoperability work (Aries, Indy, etc.) and Standards for privacy-preserving claims protocols;
• Spoken English (Intermediate level and higher);

Working conditions:

• Remote work
• Full-time (8 hours/day)
• Flexible schedule, but presence at the workplace is possible until 22 gmt+3 for collaboration with the US team
